
AUDITION IN AUGUST & WIN MONEY IN NOVEMBER
DATES ARE SET FOR THE
14TH ANNUAL WISE COUNTRY FALL-OUT
VARIETY SHOW
Decatur, Texas, July 28, 2008 --- The
14th Annual Wise Country Fall-Out, Decatur’s
long-standing talent competition, which pays prize money for 1st,
2nd and 3rd place winners, will take place on Saturday, November
15, 2008. Performers must audition for a place on the Fall-Out.
Auditions will be held on two Saturdays, August 16th and 23rd
from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. Auditions will take place at the G. C.
Rann Little Theatre located inside the Wise County Heritage Museum,
1602 S. Trinity. Please call 940-627-5586 to schedule an audition
time. Tickets for the Fall-Out are also now on sale at the Museum.
“We are looking forward to continuing the Wise Country
Fall-Out tradition of showcasing and rewarding the best talent
in Wise and surrounding counties,” says Rosalie Gregg, Executive
Director of the Wise County Historical Society, Inc. “This
show is important because it generates funds for the care of Wise
County’s historic museum building, and it is one of the
most exciting ways for local talent to be recognized, too. You
just can’t beat the combination,” she says.
All types of talent may audition on August 16th and 23rd including
singers, musicians, dancers, jugglers, magicians, really anyone
of any age who is ready to step out on stage.
Other upcoming shows include a concert on September
20th by the New Plainsmen gospel
quartet; a play, costume contest and movie October
25 focusing on the Aurora UFO Experience;
the November 15th Fall-Out; and a Christmas
show on December 13th. All shows will begin at
7 p.m.
