AUDITION DATES SET FOR
17TH ANNUAL WISE COUNTRY FALL-OUT
“This year it’s Pure Country Gold”
Decatur, Texas -- July 19, 2010 – Tryout dates are now set for spots on the 17th Annual Wise Country Fall-Out show – this year focusing on the “Pure Country Gold” music of the 1950s through the 1970s.
“We invite all our local singers, musicians, dancers and other entertainers to come try out for this special show which is now a full Wise County tradition,” says Janell Cartwright, Chairman of the Entertainment Committee for the Wise County Historical Society.
Auditions will be held on August 14, August 21 and August 28 from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. on each date. Only 12 performers will be selected for the Fall-Out show which will take place on Saturday, November 13, at 7 p.m. “All those coming for the auditions must come dressed as they would for performing in the show. They must have an instrumental CD or accompany themselves with an instrument. Only one song – a Country gold classic from the 1950s through the 1970s – may be performed at the audition,” explains Cartwright.
The Wise Country Fall-Out show and the auditions will take place at the Wise County Heritage Museum – 1602 S. Trinity – Decatur – in the beautifully-restored G. C. Rann Little Theater. Please call 940-627-5586 for an audition time.
